ARTIST STATEMENT on ‘FORM BECOMES FORMAT’ (VICE-VERSA)
‘Form becomes Format’(Vice-Versa)
‘Form becomes Format’ initially started with both sides of a given paper painted, regardless of its shape or size with different colours and textures in gouache paint (my preference). Then cut in a continuous circular long strip or any other shape. After, turning and twisting this given work, when it can be read as a format, too. This is to be seen from all angles and both sides of the work. Thus ‘Form becomes Format’, (Vice-Versa).
